“Legends of Tomorrow”, starring Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Dominic Purcell, Victor Garber, Nick Zano and many more, concluded its 2nd season earlier this month and ended it on a very high note.
Today in an unprecedented announcement Warner Bros and DC Entertainment revealed plans for a DC Centric direct-to-consumer digital service that will offer “an immersive experience designed just for DC fans.” The service will also be the new home for Young Justice season 3 and the formerly announced Titans.
“Orange is the New Black” (commonly known as OITNB) is one of Netflix’s first original shows and is expected to give us at least 7 seasons of incarnated women and their problems in prison. The show, starring Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox and Uzo Aruba amongst others, was an instant success from the beginning of it’s run since 2013.
“13 Reasons Why” is the newest Netflix show and it has broadened the genre of Netflix original works to teen dramas. No, this show isn’t another teenage drama and it proves that these shows can be amazing if treated with proper care and given the necessary development.
Jessica Jones has officially began production on season 2 and it has geared up fans more than ever. Season 1 of the show was very well received by fans and critics alike mostly for its portrayal of a victim of mind control and the great villain that was Kilgrave. Krysten Ritter had also mentioned in a previous interview that ‘The Defenders’ and ‘Jessica Jones’ would be filmed back-to-back. With ‘The Defenders’ having wrapped production, it is understandable that her show is going into production as of now. No news regarding a release date, but it can be estimated the show will come out sometime early next year.

It’s been three years since “True Detective” first aired in 2014 to much acclaim. It seemed as though the eerie anthology series would be HBOs new “Game of Thrones” until the show fell flat in 2015 when season two premiered with poor critical and audience reception. Though the ratings never dropped, season three has been in television limbo ever since the end of season two. According to EW though, the creator of the show, Nic Pizzolatto, might have an ace up his sleeve.
