Jurassic World was truly a new kids on the block film. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofiro, and more were all fresh faces to Isla Nublar.
The film really didn’t rely on any fresh faces other than B.D Wong and the T-Rex.
Now with Jurassic World 2 gearing up we now have confirmation from THR(The Hollywood Reporter) that one of the key players from the first film is returning to the land where Dinosaurs rule the earth.
Jeff Goldblum is returning to play Dr. Ian Malcolm in the sequel due out next year. Details on his role are unclear, but it is going to be interesting to see how Dr. Malcolm responds to new humans playing gods in a much more dangerous way.
From what we know the sequel will be darker, scarier, and will deal with animal rights regarding the genetically engineered animals. That seems like a perfect place to fit Dr. Malcolm’s role.
Are you happy to see Dr. Malcolm return? Will we get other original members from the Jurrasic Park crew? Sound off in the comments below!
