When “Star Wars: Battlefront” launched in 2015, fans were expectedly let down. The game failed to feature almost anything that fans of the original games wanted. But a new leaked advertisement might give fans of the original games a glimmer of hope for the second installment of the franchise.
The leaked ad above was apparently sent in an email to promote the trailer that’s dropping on the 15th. A redditor posted the full email here:
The email also says the game will hit stores in November, which was expected.
The ad features very quick shots of exciting scenes from the upcoming game. One features Darth Maul, a fan favorite character who many fans wanted in the first game. The game boasts characters and recreations of scenes from every era: the prequels, the original trilogy, and the sequels. It also shows off scenes from what seems to be the story mode of the game, which is another thing the first was lacking. According to the ad, the game will be available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One, which was also expected. At the end of the ad it also says that you will receive characters from “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” if you pre-order.
Let me say, if this ad does not excite you, then nothing will. It looks like for once EA actually listened to the fans and learned from their mistakes because this ad features everything the first game was lacking. We’ll get to see even more of “Battlefront II” when the full trailer drops on Saturday at Star Wars Celebration, hopefully along with “The Last Jedi” trailer.
