New Seasons of ‘Jessica Jones’ and ‘Daredevil’ Shooting Soon

Marvel, News, TV

Jessica Jones has officially began production on season 2 and it has geared up fans more than ever. Season 1 of the show was very well received by fans and critics alike mostly for its portrayal of a victim of mind control and the great villain that was Kilgrave. Krysten Ritter had also mentioned in a previous interview that ‘The Defenders’ and ‘Jessica Jones’ would be filmed back-to-back. With ‘The Defenders’ having wrapped production, it is understandable that her show is going into production as of now. No news regarding a release date, but it can be estimated the show will come out sometime early next year.

There’s more news for people who love the Marvel Netflix shows. ‘Daredevil’s season 3 will also be coming to our screens very soon. Charlie Cox revealed in an interview that he would be going back to film ‘Daredevil’ season 3 later this year. His exact words were, “I do that later in the year. We’ll go back and do that.” This means that the show will most likely be released sometime next year as well. Rumors suggest that this season would adapt the fan-favourite storyline ‘Born Again’ written by Frank Miller. That story features Wilson Fisk finding out Daredevil’s secret identity and using that information to destroy his life. It’s a very likely scenario as the Kingpin was seeing building up his empire again from prison and his desire to get revenge on Daredevil.

What are your thoughts on a second season of ‘Jessica Jones’ and a third season of ‘Daredevil’ possibly featuring the ‘Born Again’ storyline releasing next year?
