Box Office: ‘Don’t Breathe’ Keeps on Breathing

Movies, Uncategorized

“Don’t Breathe” suffocates the competition, against newcomers “Morgan” and “The Light Between Oceans”.

“Don’t Breathe” took the throne once again with $15.7 million, bringing it to a worldwide total $60 million. It’s small budget of $10 million makes it a huge hit Sony.

“Suicide Squad” took second and is still kicking with $10 million in it’s fifth weekend. That brings it to a worldwide total of $672 million. It has surpassed one of its predecessor in the DCEU, “Man Of Steel”.

“Pete’s Dragon” overcame the odds and made third place this weekend. It brought in a total of $6.5 million, bringing it to a total of $92.5 million worldwide. Though it’s not a mega-failure, it’s definitely a flop.

The stop motion animated family film “Kubo And The Two Strings” is also doing better overtime, like “Pete’s Dragon”. “Kubo” took fourth place and brought in $6.5 million in it’s third weekend, bringing it to a worldwide total of $39.8 million.

“Sausage Party” passed $100 million worldwide, taking fifth place with $5.3 million.
