Filming is expected to start in early 2017.
Despite the troubled production World War Z defied expectations by actually receiving pretty decent reviews and being a huge success at the box office. Ever since then, a sequel has been in development at Paramount
Juan Antonio Bayona, who’s now doing Jurassic World 2, was originally going to direct the movie, but he had to drop out due to commitments to his upcoming film, A Monster Calls. Now Variety is reporter that Brad Pitt is trying to get David Fincher to direct the sequel.
Brad Pitt and David Fincher worked together on Se7en, Fight Club, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, so this happening doesn’t seem as crazy as it does when first hearing it.
